Okay, I’ll bite. Pecor Stadium? For real? I mean, that would be brilliant and very appropriate, but on the internet one is unable to see whether an authors tongue is pressed tightly against the inside of his cheek. Little winking smiley faces help, Mr. K. ;)

It’s for real for me. I haven’t consulted my copy of the operating agreement lately - so I’m not sure how much the naming rights are (perhaps some of the lawyers who frequent the site could let me know - I know they’re a lot more familiar with the o/a than I am), but I’m fairly certain it’s a little too steep for me. Was it ever officially renamed “Lynx Stadium” or was that just how people began to refer to it?

Man, if you think hard enough, you can almost recreate a sunny afternoon at the ballpark. Soon enough!

After being called Jetform Park, and then after Adobe bailed out I think it was just called Ottawa Stadium. That could still be the name. Seems to me that, like you say, Lynx Stadium just kinda stuck “unofficially” with the fans and whatnot. Indeed, we’ll have to check out the fine print.

1)Is anyone worried about the battle between the lynx and the city.Does anyone know is this team still a go for 2008.

2)The park should be call the brian smith stadium.

  6. Carl Says:

The battle between the City and the Lynx shouldn’t have an impact on the CanAM team at this point. I think things will be finalized in the next couple of weeks - if it’s any consolation, I’m no longer worried about it.
